CLL: Diagnosis and Treatment — Overview Article

Date: August 24, 2006

The Mayo Clinic Proceedings has just published a detailed overview of CLL. This “soup to nuts” account describes the disease, what makes it tick, what has been tried thus far in real live patients, how well the various approaches have worked and so on. The authors are Dr. Susan O'Brien of M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston and Dr. Karen Yee of Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto. This overview is very detailed and well worth reading both for patients and their oncologists, for whom it constitutes CME, Continuing Medical Education.

Here is the citation:

Be well,
